When designing a room inside your home, how does color inspire you?
"Ahhh color! Truthfully we've had a strained relationship, color and I. I just didn't know how to use it. I have always thought of myself as more of a "neutral" person but I have always had issue with how boring that made me sound. Then one day the clouds parted and the angels sang I realized color wasn't the problem at all and I'm not boring! I just love texture and pattern. As long as I have plenty of that adding color is like the cherry on top! These days when designing a room I always start with a color palette that I love. That palette can come from anywhere - artwork, bedding or even a toy. Now that I know myself better color doesn't intimidate me and I am free to not only love it as I always have but to you use it, too. "
