Leviton wants to continually enhance the performance of your smart home, but you do have to manually update your lighting control devices.  Thankfully, it’s easy and free to update your home’s smart lighting controls via Leviton apps:

• Decora Smart with Wi-Fi Technology users can update their dimmers, switches, and smart plugs via the My Leviton app for iOS and Android.  For step-by-step instructions on how to check your current firmware and update if needed, click here.

• Decora Smart with HomeKit Technology customers can update their dimmers and switches via the Decora Smart Home app for iOS.  For step-by-step instructions on how to check your current firmware and update if needed, click here.

• FYI - new firmware was just added for DH6HD, DH1KD, and DH15S.
