Rose Dostal is a Registered Architect/Interior Designer and Owner of RMD Designs LLC. Her design background in Corporate, Retail, Restaurant, and high end Residential has helped her with her new design business model in Hudson, Ohio. But what remains constant is her love for the classic aesthetics and building foundations. Acknowledging, respecting and utilizing the core architectural and design that have existed for centuries, where I feel most comfortable in and is key to most of my designs.

When designing a room inside your home, how does color inspire you?
"When designing a room inside my home, color does inspire me in many ways. Whether it is from my favorite painting that hangs on my living room wall or the fabric from my sofa, or from what my body needs after a long hard day at work, I extract all these ideas from my surroundings and develop a congruent scheme that unites them all which then provides a continuity of space. This continuity then creates peace that I need so much after a long day at work!"
