Jonathan Savage

Jonathan Savage grew up in Middle Tennessee surrounded by design, as his family was prominent in real estate development. After studying business in college, Jonathan pursued his true passion for interior design and architecture as a student at American University in London, England.

Upon returning to the United States, Jonathan attended O'More College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design.

In 2007, he accepted a summer internship at the New York office of Owen and Mandolfo, Inc. Following graduation, Jonathan returned to New York City and worked for designer David Kleinberg. While employed at David Kleinberg Design Associates, Jonathan worked on numerous high-end residential projects in Manhattan, the Hamptons, and throughout the United States.

After a tremendous experience with "DKDA," Jonathan chose to return to Nashville, Tennessee to continue his design career and opened SAVAGE Interior Design. Jonathan's primary focus is residential design, ranging from contemporary downtown lofts to sprawling estates.

In addition to being known to be one of the top designers in Nashville, Jonathan has ongoing projects in California, New York, Washington D.C and Florida.

When designing a room inside your home, how does color inspire you?
"I take my inspiration from the surroundings of the space and try and build upon that, the colors outside the window of a room play a big role. If you at the beach you have the blue ocean, in NYC you have different building colors, if you are in Nashville like me you have lots of green foliage and I take this in consideration and build off of it!"
