What room will you install your Renu devices in? Why?

I chose to makeover my Home Office/Craft Room because it has become that catch all room that I try to avoid. All the junk and paperwork gets piled up in there and I cringe when I walk by the room. It’s not getting the use that I would like it to and I certainly don’t feel creative when I am in there. So I thought the Renu Challenge was the perfect time to get things together once and for all. I want my space to be usable and organized and I want it to reflect my personality.

Which color(s) did you choose for the Renu devices? Why did you choose these particular colors?

I chose to use the white on white Renu devices because the current outlet/light switch situation is not great. They are currently mismatched. White outlets with brown face covers. I want a calm and bright space and I think the white on white Renu devices will help me achieve that look. A lot of good design work goes into the details.

Do you plan on coordinating or contrasting the Renu devices with the walls/surroundings?

The Renu devices will coordinate with the overall design scheme of the room. I just want them to blend into the backdrop.

What is your favorite room in your home to design? Why?

My favorite room in my home to decorate is actually not even in my home. It’s my outdoor space. We spend a lot of time outdoors around the pool on the weekends and outdoors, anything goes. I tend to use more neutral colors in my indoor spaces, but outdoors I love color. Decorating your outdoor space is a great way to play around with mixing color and pattern.
